PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, OR IF THERE IS A PIECE OF ARTWORK OR NOTE CARDS, OF WHICH YOU'RE INTERESTED.
Encaustic, acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media painting, pencil, stained glass mosaic, and jewelry are the art mediums I'm currently exploring. I'm drawn to the journey of starting with a blank backdrop and seeing it unfold to tell a story and a testimony. I find it completely fascinating watching colors and textures mix and marry, bringing a new song to the canvas as I go along. It's an ebb and flow, just like life. I believe that these surprises are gifts of discovery from the Lord. He's waiting for us to ask, look, see, and respond.
I generally don't plan a formal layout of my artwork, unless I'm translating an encounter I've already had. I ask the Holy Spirit to be my guide, and I remind myself to stop thinking, and just release and take risks. When I work, I walk as far away from the piece as I can, to see it in a new vantage. God never fails to show me new facets that I would have missed if I had stayed focused in areas I wanted to see through the eyes of my flesh. I believe this is a truth in life, too. We need to take a step back, and ask for a deeper perspective.
I do sell my original artwork, as well as giclee fine art prints on Somerset Velvet paper, lustre prints, and lustre prints on individual notes cards or in sets of select pieces. Although all of my paintings are unique, I prayerfully consider requests to recreate them if the original has already been sold, or is unavailable. Recreations will never be exactly the same, but I will try to come as close as I can in essence. Please expect differences, as that is what will make the recreation unique and set aside just for you. Turn-around time varies, per piece.
As sowing back into the Kingdom is very important to Tripp and me, sales of my artwork and music goes directly back into missions and worship projects.
