BELOW IS HELPFUL Q & A:

===========================================================

1. QUESTION: What kind of soaking style can you expect from me?

ANSWER: The soaking sessions on this site will give you a good feel of my style and the types of songs of which I write and minister. The Holy Spirit guides my song choices, and prophetic flow.

At times the soaking may be quiet and reflective or instrumental, while at other times it could be more intense in declaration. I am prayerfully very sensitive to your needs and requests; but ultimately, I follow the Holy Spirit, and I thank you in advance for providing the welcome and freedom to do so for your event.

Also, expectations should be discussed and worked out prior to having me, so we know we're a good fit for each other. I'd like to meet and/or join in intercession prayer with your pastor(s), event leader, or guest speaker - whichever is appropriate in your case - on the day of the event, prior to worship. This is for unity's sake and to get to know each other's heart before we share what we are hearing from the Lord corporately, as we partner together with the Lord.

2. QUESTION: When I lead soaking do I play my own original songs, or popular/current songs that others will know?

ANSWER: I always play my own original songs. I don't minister with popular song requests, such as other songs you might hear corporately on a Sunday morning from other songwriters. I also don't play keys off lead sheets or with another band to fill out an existing team, but I am open to the spontaneous corporate flow if worship breaks out. Every event is unique. I move in what I discern from Holy Spirit, and with respect to the House Leadership.

3. QUESTION: Do I have a fee to paint, lead soaking, or instruct a workshop?

ANSWER: No, I do not have a fee, although I appreciate and accept a love offering which covers travel expenses and our seeding into missions and creative ministry-focused projects both through our studio and others in the field that we support. We are honored and inentional to sow into good soil.

Please also refer to the section about art materials for further information about travel needs, per workshops and retreats.

===========================================================

4. QUESTION: Will I be bringing product with me?

ANSWER: Usually, yes. I may bring some CDs and possibly smaller pieces of my artwork, jewelry, and/or notecards to sell only if it's an appropriate venue/event, so a table, chair is requested. Unless asked, I do not bring any product with me to worship burns. I will run all of my transactions through my own credit card reader, so a internet connection is also helpful.

===========================================================

5. QUESTION: Do I bring a band with me?

ANSWER: No, I do not bring a band with me. I will play keys, and that will be the only instrument necessary.

===========================================================

6. QUESTION: How many people travel with me, as part of my team?

ANSWER: My husband, Tripp, will usually always be with me wherever I travel. He will connect with your sound/tech person to make sure all the technical aspects are in place before we confirm and also when we're there in person. He's also available to assist your team if they have any other technical questions. He may or may not also run sound for me, pending our arrangement.

There may also be times when our adult daughter and teenage son also travel with us.

7. QUESTION: What specific sound equipment and/or art gear needs do I have?

ANSWER: With all events, Tripp will go over all the components of the sound with the venue's/event's sound tech in advance of the event. I am the point person for art-related questions.

As for sound gear, I will always bring my own in-ears and wrap-around head mic, which requires a standard XLR/48 volts connection. When traveling within a reasonable driving distance, I will also bring my own keyboard; and if necessary, my own audio system.

If I'm painting with a worship band that uses an acoustic drum kit, your drummer/percussionist(s) will need to be behind a drum cage if I'm on their side of the stage or directly in front of them on the floor.

If traveling extended distances or by air, I will need a fully weighted, fully functional /stage grade 88-keyboard, pedal, piano bench or padded chair (a rotating office chair works well), and 2 sturdy music stands or one wide stand. If you don't have a digtial keyboard, a traditional tuned piano is fine with an appropriate sound system for my mic. If you have a personal mixing system available, such as an Aviom or Furman, that's great. If you don't have one, a floor monitor is usually fine. If you don't have a personal mixer or floor monitor, or any of the aforementioned equipment, you'll need to let us know during our initial conversation, so I can assess accordingly.

If I'm painting and we are within a reasonable driving distance, I will bring all of my art supplies, plein air easel, and canvas(es). If outside of a reasonable driving distance, I'll bring some of my art supplies, and possibly my plein air easel. I will need a table, and I'll pick up my canvas local to the venue. I will need access to at least one outlet with 2 sockets for my lighting, if adequate lighting isn't available. I have necessary extension cords, but if you have cords that's also great. I do request that where I paint is on a solid, flat surface so my easel and other gear is steady and protected.

8. QUESTION: Do I leave my artwork at the venue when the event is over?

ANSWER: This is on a case-by-case basis, and it also depends on the materials I use and our prior arrangements.

===========================================================

9. QUESTION: Do I bring art materials with me for my class participants when I instruct prophetic art workshops?

ANSWER: If the class requires air travel, I will need to either pick up materials in your area when I arrive, or I will give you a detailed material list to have ready for your workshop. Material expenditures will need to be reimbursed to me prior to the workshop.

===========================================================

10. QUESTION: Do I have a press kit?

ANSWER: Yes. I have picture size and orientation options and a short bio I can send to you for any print or digital ads of your event. It's always appreciated if you add me to your event promotionals, if you're listing other special speakers/guest/worship leaders, as well.

===========================================================

11. QUESTION: Does Tripp offer more specialized audio engineering training or consulations for your venue's sound techs?

ANSWER: Yes. Tripp has upwards of 40 years of experience and expertise in live audio engineering, and another 20+ years in studio engineering. Feel free to contact him at the form below.
